These yummy and delicious protein balls are a great snack to have made up and ready to eat. They are packed with protein, fiber, healthy fats and just plain ole goodness. They will fill you up at snack time, help reduce cravings between meals and give you energy so you can keep doing what you’re doing.
Almond Protein Snack Balls in Minutes
Makes 1 dozen.
Serving size 1 -2 balls.
1/2 cup Almond Butter
1 cup organic rolled oats (more for rolling if needed)
1/4 cup of chocolate chips (mini chips work great)
2 Tbsp. Nutrimeal (I used Active Nutrition Vanilla)
2 Tbsp Chia seeds – (optional)
Mix together all ingredients and roll into 1 inch balls onto a parchment cookie sheet.
Refrigerate for 1 hour and serve.
Before refrigerating, rolls balls in coconut, shaved nuts, chia seeds, or even dark chocolate chips.
