All It Did Was Leave Me Tired, Cranky & Pudgy.

All it did was leave me tired, cranky, and pudgy!

Do you feel Tired?  Puffy?  Bloated?  Bitchy?

Can’t lose those first or last 10 lbs?

Tired of being a workout rat and not seeing results?

That was me for a long time…… but I found away out…. by learning what to eat, why to eat it and how to eat it.
My diet used to be so much different than how it is now. If I think about it, my view of eating, let alone what I was eating, used to be much different.

I think I went through every type of eating I knew. I was obsessed with calorie counting for a very long time and that really didn’t do much at all but improve my math.  I had to look at every calorie I ate – how many calories does it have? How many have I already eaten?

I also went on a sugar –free kick and all that did was make my butt and belly bigger. The grocery store loved me because I bought the expensive little snack foods packs disguised as healthy with a low calorie counts – you know the ones I am talking about.

Let’s not talk about the crazy diets I have been on and off: high-protein, low-carb, no-fat, no-sugar, grapefruit, juice fasting, and the ever popular “eat only one meal a day” starvation diet just to name a few. I also ate what I thought was good and healthy foods to but ended up bloated and hungry an hour later, At one time, all I drank was coffee all day.

I became a gym-rat ..you know what those are, the go-to-the-gym or work-out-everyday people. But is did not help me drop those stuck on pounds.

All those diets and crazy work-outs did was leave me tired, cranky, looking older and still pudgy. Yuck!

My journey too me to The Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I really went to learn more for me  – I wanted to know what to eat, why to eat it and how to eat it (and learned much more than I ever imagined.) (I am now a Certified Health Coach through the American Association of Drugless Practitionersafter 12 months of training, learning and testing).

I feel better now than I have in a long time.

I don’t count calories and I don’t buy sugar free either. I know what foods make me bloat up and which ones give me energy. I have learned how to eat for my body and have revitalized my overall diet & cleaned it up, And it feels amazing!

I’ve learned that a calorie isn’t just a calorie – that not all calories are created equally. I have learned that my body needs calories, protein, fats and carbs. I actually get to eat them all -I just eat the right kinds now – the ones that work for my body and not against it.

I have learned many tools to be healthy not only on the inside but also on the outside and in a different & simple way. These tools that allowed me to achieve my goals one-step at a time.  I am living a healthier anti-aging and anti-inflammatory lifestyle because I know what to eat and why + how to balance it all while still keeping up with my busy life (and I still get to drink wine and have my fav dessert too).
