Warm Spiced Oatmeal

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups purified water
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ tsp. Himalayan sea salt
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. raw honey or 100% real maple syrup (for drizzling on top)
 Instructions
  1. Bring water (with salt) to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add oats.
  3. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, for 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add the spices and mix well.
  6. Let stand 1-2 minutes.
  7. Divide evenly into bowls.
  8. Pour in milk
  9. Top with honey, if desired, banana or, or nuts/seeds.
