Warm Spiced Oatmeal
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients
- 2 cups purified water
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ tsp. Himalayan sea salt
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. ground ginger
- ¼ tsp. ground cloves
- 1 tsp. raw honey or 100% real maple syrup (for drizzling on top)
Instructions
- Bring water (with salt) to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add oats.
- Cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add the spices and mix well.
- Let stand 1-2 minutes.
- Divide evenly into bowls.
- Pour in milk
- Top with honey, if desired, banana or, or nuts/seeds.
