The “Dirty Dozen” and “Clean 15” for 2016
The Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen for 2016
Are you trying to eat cleaner?
Are you worried about pesticide residue on your fruits and veggies?
The Dirty Dozen 12 + fruits and vegetables are considered to have the highest pesticides residue when tested by USDA – even when they were washed and, in some cases, peeled.
If you want to reduce your exposure to pesticides cannot find or afford an all-organic diet, use the lists below to help you select which are worth buying organic. Many local farmers use organic farming methods but can’t afford to go through the testing to be certified organic. Check with you local farmers first, it may save you a few dollars.
