Healthy Snack #41: Celery + Sunbutter

It’s all about having simple healthy snacks and variety (who wants to be bored with their food anyway).  There are many options to it.

Recipe:

  • Cut 1-2 celery stalks
  • 1 TBLS of peanut, sun, apple, almond or healthy butter of choice
  • Sesame seed, raisins, raw cacao, hemp seeds or other healthy topping
  • Drizzle with a little honey (optional)

Use the single serve packets of nut butters you can find at your local health food store. These work great for the office plus have you using the right amount of the nut butter (1TBLS) because you don’t want to use too much – it is just a snack after all. Store your cut celery in glass container and a little water to keep them fresh until you are ready to eat them.
