Hormone Busting Cacao Pudding
This is one dark chocolate treat.

It does! And no wonder we crave chocolate when we are stressed. It is actually a good thing!
So if you are feeling stressed, try eating a square of extra dark chocolate (75-80% cacao) or try this delicious cacao pudding – it is one dark chocolate treat! And it has another secret super food in it that I bet you can’t guess….
Hormone Busting Pudding
Ingredients:
- 1 cup purified water
- 1 1/2 TBLS hemp seeds
- 1/2 c maple syrup
- 1 TBLS coconut oil
- 2 medium avocado, pitted
- 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1-2 tsp vanilla (or seeds from one vanilla pod)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Add the water and hemp seeds to a high-speed blender like Vitamix. Blend until it makes a hemp milk for the base. Scoop out the avocado and add. Add all other ingredients. Blend well and until smooth like pudding – use the tamper if you need (I did). You can eat it right away or put in cups and chill.
Top with cacao nibs/chips (as shown) or it is really good with fresh blueberries and some coconut flakes.
This is filling so smaller servings are nice. For a different presentation, you can serve on a small, pretty dessert plate with cut bananas and coconut.
