Green Pear Fiber Smoothie
It’s so delicious! It is now one of my fav’s for a super-green fiber-rich smoothies.
Ingredients:
1-2 cups coconut water – cold
1-2 curly kale stalks – remove from stalk
1 handful of baby spinach
1 large celery stalk
1 medium cucumber – peeled if not organic
1 nub of fresh ginger
1 large ripe pear
1/2 – 1 tsp cinnamon (to taste)
Put coconut water, kale, spinach celery, cucumber in Vitamix or blender. Blend for a minute. Add ginger, pear, cinnamon and lemon juice blend for another minute or more depending on blender that’s used ability to blend whole foods.
This smoothie is not frozen or super cold but it is thick (I almost ate it with a spoon).
Enjoy it for breakfast and make a large batch to save for later. Store in a airtight container to keep fresh longer.
