Detoxing Lettuce Wraps
Delicious and cleansing to the body, theses wraps will please your palate and your tummy!
Delicious Detox Wrappers- Serves 2
Ingredients:
- Romaine, butter lettuce, green cabbage or collard leaves (rinsed).
- 2 large carrots, peeled and sliced thin or grated
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 1 cup broccoli sprouts (or sprouts of choice)
- 1 apple, sliced
- lime juice
- Cayenne Pepper or Cultured Foods such as Kim Chi to warm your Digestion
- juice of a lime (optional)
Lay out your greens on a plate to the side.
Mix together the carrots, avocado, broccoli and apple slices.
Place some filling in each of lettuce leaves and drizzle lime juice over top.
(Optional: to warm digestion and aid in digestive wellness add cayenne or Kim Chi.)
I added grilled chicken to mine and used 2 pieces of romaine lettuce. It was just delicious.
